I was in England last week and stopped by to see my old buddy Joy. Her Nottingham studio was full of vibrant colors. She is working on her next collection of knit accessories to be shown in London at Pulse. I have known Joy for about 30 years and am in awe of her talent with color and pattern. It was very inspiring to see what she is up to and wonderful to have some-one to talk to about machine knitting.
Her husband, Paul is busy working on Joy’s website. I had a sneak peek and it looks like it is going to be as amazing as the knitwear it will represent. As soon as it is up and running I will let you know.
I’ve been checking out the new Liberty tana lawns. I love them for hankies and pj’s. I can’t seem to get enough of them. This season they have collaborated with some artists and illustrators and have come up with some delightfully, whimsical prints. Here are my faves.
