Wowza! My friend Derek invited me over for dinner last night, and not only was Stephen Gyllenhaal filming his new movie, Grassroots, right outside the window , but D. also had a dvd of Busby Berkeley’s best numbers for us to watch. So while Lauren Ambrose, Jason Biggs and Joel David Moore were doing their actor thing outside, hundreds of girls were whizzing around in the water or tap-dancing across the stage inside. It was hard to know where to look. Busby Berkeley’s “By A Waterfall” won my vote.
