I know it’s ancient (from1995!) but I have just discovered the tv show “Hamish Macbeth”. It is also pretty silly but in a very endearing way. All those men traipsing around the heathery highlands in their aran jumpers and kilts, handsome Robert Carlyle, his wee highland terrier, Jock and the adorable Shirley Henderson. What’s not to like?
